The DSU is in need of a stronger brand and identity. My studies in Commerce along with my practical experience in marketing and promotions have provided me with the skills to create this brand awareness and strengthen the presence of the DSU on Campus.
I'm passionate about this because I have experienced the amazing things the DSU has to offer; the experiences I've had and the people I've met have helped to define who I am. The DSU has the capacity to create an even greater sense of culture at Dal and bring students together around the initiatives that matter to them.
The first step is to focus on helping students understand the things the DSU has to offer and how it relates to each individual student. The second step is to empower leaders and provide the resources they need to flourish. My platform is based on brand awareness, student leadership, skills development and resources to support innovation. I hope to have the opportunity to drive positive change in each of these areas.
